IPT.EnDerr wins 1st PH Cup tourney, Dane takes 2nd, and Heartz 3rd

PSISTORM’s 1st Philippine CUP Starcraft LAN tournament was held yesterday from 1pm to 8pm Philippine time (1-8am US Eastern) at Imperium eSports Bar in Manila.

Imperium Pro Team’s Zerg player EnDerr took 1st place (P3000 prize), while MSI Evo GT’s Terran player Dane Luis placed 2nd (P2000). IPT’s Protoss player Heartz took 3rd.

The series of the tournament was the 1-2 series win between EnDerr and Dane in their first matchup where Dane had an impressive showing and was a crowd favorite to watch. In a rematch, EnDerr wins 2-0 over Dane in the Finals to take the crown.

Heartz had wins over Tiamat and Ulceldae, but lost to EnDerr and Dane, taking home P1000 with 3rd place.

The highest non-GM/Masters player was Tiamat, pocketing P500.

Tournament Rules

These sets of rules will be reused for most tournaments.

King Sejong Station LE, Overgrowth LE, Catallena LE, Merry Go Round LE, Deadwing LE, Foxtrot Labs LE + Nimbus LE

Veto order is by random setting of the bracket. So top players in bracket get first veto.

For Best of 3 Series, both players take turns to veto 2 maps from the map pool, so there is 3 left, then they each select the map they most want if they lose, and start with the remaining map.
For Best of 5 Series, both players take turns to veto 1 map from the map pool, so there is 5 left, then they each select the map they most want if they lose, repeat, and start with the remaining map.

· All results must be PMed to Freeedom in-game.

· Players who are 15 or more minutes late will be disqualified, if a replacement cannot be fount their opponent will be given an automatic win.
· If any player disconnects occur the match is to be resumed via replay. If a player drops twice on the same game, (G1,G2,etc), it is their opponents right to take the map win, If both players don’t agree to resume the map again.
· Any disputes will be handled by the Admins after reviewing all associated replays.
· Any inappropriate behaviour will result in a disqualification.
· Players must have their own account, playing on a friends is not allowed
